Dawn Elizabeth Kenure, nee Ball, died 15th august 1992 aged 37. She was born and raised in
Leicester. Daughter of Jack and Eileen Ball, sister of Ann, Jen, John and Pete. Married to Byron
with four children Ryan, Sian, Joann and Rhian. Dawn (my mum) was tragically taken from us all when
she was murdered almost 15 years ago, although so much time has passed and we were all still young
children when it happened, not a day goes by without us all thinking of you. You now have 2
beautiful grandchildren, corey-james who is 4 (sian's son) and starla dawn who is 3(jo's daughter)
who have obviously never met you but know what a beautiful, kind, loving, bubbly lady you were. They
see pictures of you every single day and know that you are their Nanna Dawn and that you are looking
down on them from above sending them big huggles and kisses every day. I tell cj that Nanna Dawn
would have adored him and starla, as everyone who knew my mum knew that she loved children and we
always had a 'housefull'. You were always so full of life and gave the best, warmest, softest hugs a
mum could give. You would always do everything and anything for anybody and got on with anyone you
came into contact with. Everyday i ask myself why you were taken from us but believe that you are up
in heaven looking after everyone we have lost in our lives and hope you are looking after my lost
babies, and being the Nanna to them that you cant be to your other grandchildren. I will love you
everyday of my life, and until we meet again keep looking after us from above, You were the best mum
i ever could have wished for, sleep- tight mum, you are in my heart every passing day and know that
if i am half as good as you being a mum then i'll be the best mum cj could wish for too, all my love
now and forever sian x x x

Hiya Mum

Cant believe its been over 17 years now since you went away, we still think of you every day, i'm sorry i didn't come on here on your anniversary but i was thinking of you all day, it was harder this year, i think its because i'm busy planning my wedding and know you would've loved to be here, arranging things and helping me to choose my dress, i so wish you were here, it's so hard doing it all on my own, i love you and miss you more than ever mum, xxxxx

Such a beautiful tribute, Sian

My mother-in-law was murdered, aged 39, in 2002. There are so many whys and it's not something I think we'll ever get over. I'm sure our loved ones are looking over us, Sian - they're with us every step of the way x
